- Armstrong Lock & Security Products Inc. - Shipping & Returns Policy

Armstrong Lock will only ship orders in the continental U.S. using the shipping company of our choice (U.P.S. is our main form of shipments under 150 lbs.) Contact Armstrong Lock by phone if you need a product shipped and you do not meet these guidelines.

Armstrong Lock’s “FREE SHIPPING” promotion applies to orders that are $150.00 or over (EXCLUDING ALL SAFES OVER 150 lbs.). If the product you have ordered is not in stock, the order will ship once ALL parts have arrived and are ready to ship. As a valued customer of Armstrong Lock, we will notify you by email if there is a lead time. We will also notify you once the order is complete and ready to be shipped. Along with the notification you will receive a tracking number to better assist you in estimating a time of arrival.

Orders over 150 lbs. are not allowed through our U.P.S. system therefore, our best option is to ship it to you using a common carrier. The carrier will be of our choice, unless we are contacted to do differently. We will contact you by phone and/or email asking which shipment method would best fit your needs. Please note that these shipping companies will only bring the item to your door. They are not authorized to bring the item INSIDE. You will need to call a local locksmith or safe moving company to move the shipment inside the house if you are unable to do so. We will assist you in finding such a company, however, we are in no way liable for any 3rd party company moving or assembling any of our products.

Orders over 150 lbs. will be contacted by the shipping carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. Most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday.

If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem. You can also refuse the shipment altogether. Please contact Armstrong Lock if there is ANY problem with the shipment.

REUTRNS

Return requests over 90 days (from the date the items arrived to the customer) will not be approved.

Return request must be approved prior to shipping the items back to us. To request a return on item customer must contact us during normal business hours (Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) at (407) 894-7233 and obtain an RGA number. RGA numbers will be given to customers with approved returns. RGA number must appear on the box in which the item is being returned in. After receiving a RGA number from us, the package must be shipped out within 7 business days from your location or the RGA number will be voided.

Any items that are not in their original packing will not receive full credit or will not receive credit at all. Any specially ordered items will require a 50% deposit that is NON-REFUNDABLE. All items are subject to a possible 10% - 40% restocking charge. Restocking is based on our distributor’s terms for returns and any charges we may have acquired for your order. Shipping charges will not be refunded to customers for returns. Returns on orders that were shipped with our “free shipping” promotion will have the actual shipping charges deducted from their refund amount.
